Issue/Introduction

Using a .Net Core Agent, am I able to set an application name? There is a introscope.agent.application.name property for the Java Agent.

introscope.agent.application.name ="application_name"

Will this work with the .Net and .Net Core Agent?

Environment

All Supported .Net agent releases.

Resolution

Introscope.agent.application.name is not supported in .Net/.Net Core Agent.  For a workaround, capture the application name within the agent name. The agent name for .Net and Java should allow blanks. For both agents , you can set via com.wily.introscope.agent.agentName

Additional Information

An enhancement to support introscope.agent.application.name  for .Net/.Net Core Agent is underway.
