Restricting the Applet Copy and Paste feature to some devices

Issue/Introduction

Sometimes it would be useful to be able to restrict, for security reasons, the capability of copy/cut and paste from / to the Privileged Access Management SSH, RDP and Telnet applets to avoid the possibility of compromising critical data.

Version: Any version

Resolution

Unfortunately, the 'Applet Copy and Paste' is a global setting, so it cannot be restricted per device, user or session, as it can be seen in the Applet Customization documentation pages.

In order to suggest the implementation of such a new feature we invite you to open an idea in our PAM community explaining the details of the new capability and the product management team will evaluate the potential inclusion of this feature in future releases of the product.
