Issue/Introduction

We want to use the new Spectrum Performance view feature for 10.4.1 version, but on Linux OS we do not see the SpectrumInsideView  executable. In addition if we try to run influxd, we are seeing the /influxdb/data directory is empty.

Cause

On initial launch of 10.4.1, the Linux executable for SpectrumInsideView was not available out of box. A patch is required to install to provide SpectrumInsideView executable for Linux OS.

Environment

Release : 10.4.1

Component : ACTIVATOR VM

Resolution

This is resolved in PTF patch 10.04.01.PTF_10.4.103. Installing this patch will provide the Linux OS executable for SpectrumInsideView

In addition, when running SpectrumInsideView, it will create the database for influxdb

Please open a Support case to request a download for this patch.
