Duplication/Multiplication of records in a project sub page list

Issue/Introduction

• We find inconsistency in data in Project->properties->Strategic Outcomes List or other custom sub page / out of the box sub page.
• Sometimes it happens that there is a duplication of records in the page where the results multiply.
• Could you please explain us the cause of multiplication of records?

Cause

This can happen if a process, XOG is triggered that will create the additional instances based on start criteria for the process

Resolution

• Check for any custom processes or custom jobs that may create additional records, issues related to this would be updated by the process creator.
• One specific thing to check is the start criteria for the process to see if it's triggering unexpected additional processes based on the start criteria
  • (IE when a project manager updates a project with a change, it may incorrectly kick off the process again)
