How cluster probe works and why do we get alerts from the node even after the resources are moved to another node.
And the alarms getting are cdm disk alarms.
Environment
Release : UNIFIED INFRASTRUCTURE MGMT
probe: cluster probe
Resolution
In CDM configuration file see if there is any extra disk section coming for disks involved in alarming. It is possible that disk from cluster section is moved to another node, but disk section still exist under fixed disks section. If we find any extra section for non-existing disks, either manually delete/deactivate that section or we can do for fresh deployment.
Also deactivate <fixed_default> section in CDM cfg on all the nodes if CDM probe is configured with Cluster probe.
We will get alert for the disks if we are only moving resource from one nodes to another nodes as both nodes are still active. We can remove monitoring on the shared disks between different nodes. If particular nodes are completely inactive then only we will not get alert.
