Issue/Introduction

Jobs can possibly abend while the tape file(s) are going through CLOSE processing with either a S50D or a S0C4 if the //TMSDISP DD statement is present.     



Why is the //TMSDISP DD STATEMENT causing an ABEND of either S50D or S0C4?
