Vantage Storage Resource Manager

Issue/Introduction

Using the Windows Client, can navigate to Backup and Archive Management -> DFSMShsm -> Control Data Sets -> MCDS Records and get a listing of datasets matching the filter.

On the WebUI, navigating to the same object tree location, get the message:  VKG0844I No Disk Dataset Found For Object=HSMCD.

Which is the difference ?

Environment

Release : 14.0

Component : CA Vantage Storage Resource Manager

Resolution

The HSMCD object has RT and DC mode.
In windows client, RT mode is default and in web client DC is the default.

In RT mode, no script is need to run, but in DC mode the scripts regarding the HSM must be run.

In Web client the RT mode can also run, but it must set manually.
