Issue/Introduction

When attempting to rename a variable object, it is possible that one or more worker processes fail, providing an error similar to:

Error in `/opt/automic/system/bin/ucsrvwp': free(): invalid next size (fast): 0x0000000002093520 ***

Release : 12.2.5, 12.3.2

Component : AUTOMATION ENGINE

Cause

Renaming a variable object caused in some circumstances all WP's to terminate. This happens only if the variable is referenced in the Variables section in a JOBS and the new name is shorter as the old name.

This has been resolved in the following releases:
