Hardware Inventory task fails with error "MODULES_RETURNED_ERROROTHER_MODULES_RETURNED_OK"

Client Automation - r14.0

Cause

After isolating the inventory module that fails, the Performance Inventory is identified as the one that keeps failing.

Performance Inventory is managed by the binary called "pcmtouam1.exe", this file comes from an older release, when the module was called Performance Lite Agent.

Looking into Domain Manager install folder, on the binaries path ..CA\DSM\Bin, this file is missing, that's because this module was removed on 12.9 release.

Resolution

Furthermore, reviewing in DSM Explorer -> Control Panel -> Configuration -> Collection Modules -> Inventory Detection Modules, reviewing the properties of Performance Inventory task, into Platforms tab, the module is calling for this missing binary. Unselect this option.
