Applying license codes using YDSPLICPRD

Issue/Introduction

To verify that your authorization was successful, use the 'Display  Product Licenses' command, YDSPLICPRD.  The command displays a list of the products you are authorized to, the release level, expiration date,  and the maximum number of concurrent interactive jobs you are allowed.

Resolution

Each unique code refers to either a component or a group of components, when we input the code with the YGRTLICAUT command then that specific component/group of components are activated for use on that specific machine (QSRLNBR + QMODEL machine combination). 

The underlying licensing process takes care of making the mapping between the code and corresponding component/group of components.
