Invalid JRXML Error When Trying to Update a Jaspersoft Report

Issue/Introduction

After trying to update a Jaspersoft report using Jaspersoft Studio, the following error is displayed:

org.apache.http.client.HttpResponseException: illegal.parameter.value.error

Invalid JRXML

JRXML.content

Environment

This issue has been observed using Jaspersoft Server 7.1.0.

Resolution

Please make sure that you are using the version of Jaspersoft Studio that matches the Jaspersoft Server. Older versions of Jaspersoft Studio may show different errors when trying to connect to a newer version of Jaspersoft Server.
