Issue/Introduction

Attempts to start Database Management for Db2 for z/OS XNET as a started task fails.  However, it successfully starts as a batch job.
As a STC it encounters RACF errors on allocated datasets.

Cause

RACF definitions needed to be supplied for the datasets being accessed by XNET.

Resolution

Correcting the RACF setup for the UID associated with the XNET STC and the ability to access its datasets proved successful.
