Issue/Introduction
The modelinggateway import (from 10.2.1 to 10.4) may fail to successfully import the Alarm Filters and Global Collection Hierarchy in a DSS environment.
Cause
1. Open one click client of 10.4.0. 2. Go to "Locater->Model". Expend Models and click on "By Model Class". Select "Unknown" from drop-down and press OK. Find "GlobalConfig" in results. If Environment is DSS, then you will get multiple GlobalConfig entries. Select any globalConfig row and click on Attributes tab in bottom screen. 3. Find OneClickGlobalUserPreferences (0x12a7f) attribute. Double click on it. If the value is empty or not having all the data, then it will lead to Alarm filter issue. ==> OneClickGlobalUserPreferences attribute contains Alarm Filters data. 4. Find CollectionHierarchy (0x12a7d) attribute. Double click on it. If the value is empty or not having all the data, then it will lead to Global Collection Hierarchy issue. ==> This attribute contains Global Collection Hierarchy data.
Environment
Release : 10.4
Component : Spectrum Core / SpectroSERVER
Resolution
1. Open one click client of 10.2.1. 2. Copy OneClickGlobalUserPreferences attribute value from any landscape of 10.2.1 and paste it in 10.4.0 environment OneClickGlobalUserPreferences attribute value for any landscape. 3. Copy CollectionHierarchy attribute value from any landscape of 10.2.1 and paste it in 10.4.0 environment CollectionHierarchy attribute value for any landscape. 4. Restart oneclick client of 10.4.0. Both Alarm Filters and Global Collection Hierarchy should come. If not come, please restart 10.4.0 tomcat service.
