Issue/Introduction

Cost Plan is not showing the expected department and cost for resources

STR
  1. Create a project 
  2. Add two resources to team,100% allocated
  3. No tasks are added
  4. Go to Financial Plans tab
  5. Click on the Action drop down and select 'New from Investment Team'
  6. Create Cost Plan with grouping by Resource and Department

Expected Results:  The correct department and cost shows for each resource
Actual Results:  One resource shows the correct department and cost, the other resource shows the department of the Project and no cost.

Cause

This is due to the resource not being financially enabled.

Environment

Release : All Supported releases

Component : CA PPM SAAS APPLICATION

Resolution

Financially enable the resource and complete all required fields

  1. Go to Home>>Resources
  2. Search and select Resource
  3. Go to Properties>>Financial
  4. Check the Financially Active checkbox
  5. Fill in the remaining required fields.
