Connection between IG and IM. "test connect" fails

Issue/Introduction

We have an issue with IG connecting to the IM.  We are trying to create a connector for IM from IG and the test fails. The connection is showing as successful from IM to IG.

Environment

Release : 14.x

Component : CA IDENTITY SUITE (VIRTUAL APPLIANCE)

Resolution

The issue was caused because the directory mapping and the passwords were out of sync with the corp directory.

IG only takes into account the data in the corp directory.

Resetting the imadmin password to be in sync solved the issue.
