Issue/Introduction

Attempting to enable ACF2 under z/OS 2.4.  Using same ACF2 libraries as for z/OS 2.3, which has no issues.  Receiving:

ACF9C007 COULD NOT LOCATE JCT, BATCH DEFAULT ASSIGNED

What is needed to resolve this problem?

Environment

Release : 16.0

Component : CA ACF2 for z/OS

Resolution

Anytime upgrading the operating system, you need to apply all the required maintenance, and re-assemble the ACF2/JES2 interface using the new IBM and ACF2 libraries.  Job JXBUMJ2 will apply usermod UMJ2999 to help with this.

Additional Information

To check what maintenance is needed with Broadcom Mainframe products, go to Mainframe Compatibilities page
