CA View - Upgrade from R12.2 to R14.0

Issue/Introduction

The client is upgrading CA View from R12.2 to R14.0, and wants to know of any steps particular to the product.

Resolution

As well as the steps that are required in regular mainframe product upgrading (proc updates, JCL updates, library assignment), in addition View requires:

. CICS definitions will be modified to include the 14.0 library.
. Run of SARDBASE VERSION 14.0.
. Run of SARDBASE OLOAD, with the 14.0 panels.
