Installing Workstation on Windows 10 without downgrading Java

Issue/Introduction

Trying to get setup with Winidows10 desktop installation for the APM workstation.  

 I just tried installing the same executable (within the zip file). I get an error related to the installer not running in this UI mode. 

A quick search brings me to this which hints that the 10.5 installer doesn't work for Java versions > 8.45. I am well over that version:

We are running the same EM version (10.5.2) so trying to find a workstation package version that will be compatible with the EM and not require an installation for everyone of an old version of Java8 and where we can download that version and install it that way it is supposed to be installed - through the .exe file.

Cause

This is not possible at this time.

Resolution

There is no currentworkaround other than downgrading the Java release (just to install) or installing  APM 10.7 or later.
