I am changing my password 2 days before I have to. I get a message that the new password is invalid, but I still get logged on. Why?
If your password is not expired, your old password is still valid, thus you get logged on. If you have an expired password, you will get a different error message (such as ACF00124
NEW PASSWORD HAS TOO MANY REPEATING CHARACTERS AND OLD PASSWORD EXPIRED) and the user will not be allowed to logon.
