DUAS 6.10.21 not available for WINDOWS and LINUX 32bits

Issue/Introduction

The release 6.10.21 does not contain the kits 32bits LINUX and WINDOWS.

Environment

Release : 6.10

Component : DOLLAR UNIVERSE

Cause

Linux 32bit OS and Windows 32bit OS (i686/i686) are no longer supported due to the End of Support from the Operating System Editors.

Up to version 6.10.11 included, Dollar Universe on Windows and Linux could be installed using a 32-bit kit or a 64-bit kit.
Dollar Universe V6.10.11 is the latest version on Windows and Linux to benefit from a 32-bit kit and a 64-bit kit.

As of version 6.10.21, Dollar Universe on Windows and Linux can only be installed using a 64-bit kit.

Resolution

As of version 6.10.21, Dollar Universe on Windows and Linux can only be installed using a 64-bit kit.

Any upgrade of an existing Company installed using a 32-bit kit must therefore take place in 3 steps:

1. Upgrade the existing version, using the V6.10.11 / 32-bit kit
2. Upgrade of version 6.10.11 / 32-bit, using the V6.10.11 / 64-bit kit
3. Upgrade of version 6.10.11 / 64-bit, using the current 64-bit kit

During step 2, DUAS changes from a 32-bit application to a 64-bit application. As a consequence, the value of %PROGRAMFILES% variable changes from "C:\Program Files (x86)" (default value in a 32-bit environment) to "C:\Program Files" (default value in a 64-bit environment). This change affects all objects using the variable %PROGRAMFILES% in DUAS: Uproc scripts, Uproc / Task / MU / Node Variables, etc.
