Update or change origins for QOS data in DX UIM

Issue/Introduction

Need to know a method for changing the origin of QOS data.

How do I update the origin os QOS data for specific probes or robot? 

Environment

DX UIM 20.4.* / 23.4.*

Cause

Various reasons:

• Missing QOS data in metric view, reports
• Correction of data
• Migration to a new environment and origin
• Origin wrongly inherited

Resolution

• To update origin on a certain robot and/or probe the following queries can be executed. 
  Use caution and ensure you have a backup of the DX UIM DB before running any update queries: 
  
  SELECT * FROM S_QOS_DATA WHERE ORIGIN = '<OLD/BAD/WRONG ORIGIN_NAME>'

UPDATE S_QOS_DATA SET origin= '<new_origin_name>' WHERE origin ='<old_or_wrong_origin>' OR nim_origin = '<old_or_wrong_origin>'
  
  
• For more detailed information about updating and merging origins see:

• If after updating the origin, metrics still do not show in Operator Console, there might still be a mismatch of ci_metric_id. To fix that follow the steps in the below article: 
  CI_METRIC_ID column in S_QOS_DATA table was not updated to new CI_METRIC_ID values
