Issue/Introduction

The new techdocs site for IDMS documentation is confusing and sometimes searching finds no hits but a CA support person can give me the correct url.

Is there a secret way to be sure I am at the correct starting page for IDMS doc when searching for something specific?

Resolution

There are THREE main techdocs spaces for IDMS documentation. At each of the following starting pages you can see all of the doc available from that main page both in the left side expandable Table-of-Contents and in the various boxes to the right.

 1.  CA IDMS 19.0

  If for example, you go to #1 CA IDMS 19.0 and search for a Message or some doc that is in the REFERENCE space you will not get anything found.  

   

  Searching for IDMS at the main Techdocs page will show the three spaces
