Increase maximum number of return display when search in Service Point

Issue/Introduction

Is it possible to increase maximum number of return display when search in Service Point? This is a question raised by some users as sometime they don't see all areas from Service Desk or offerings from Service Catalog they search for display on the display area. This tech will address this question.

Cause

The maximum items that in the return display area is designed and hard coded to be 40

 

Environment

Release : 17.2

Component : Service Point

Resolution

Currently there is no way to configure that to be more than 40 and this is by design and be hard coded. We encourage users raise idea for this in community web site so Broadcom Development considers enhance this in the future release.

As a workaround, end users should refine their search string to be more specific. For example, search for "Software" may return many but search for "Software.Environment"  should not return that many.
