TDM Portal: Monitoring PII Audit Performance
Article ID: 144128
CA Test Data Manager (Data Finder / Grid Tools)
When performing a PII Audit on a large database with many tables, it shows the tables scanned. Is there a way to monitor which table it is currently process or how long it will take or make the performance faster?
One or more of the following steps will need to be performed: 1. Increase the amount of RAM on the operating system.
2. Increase the memory allocation for TDM Portal. 3. If the scan used to be faster and this occurred after an upgrade or migration, rebuild indexes for all tables in the schema.
The main factors affecting the scan performance are: - The size of the table (millions or billions of rows) - The number of tables - Absence of primary key (unique index)
