InterTest - CICS

Issue/Introduction

The client is installing Intertest into a new CICS CTS 5.4 region for the first time. When the client starts Intertest CICS at PLTPI time by executing program IN25PLT
the client receives the following message and Intertest CICS fails to initialize in CICS.
CAVHFMIO API LOAD FAILED
DFHAP0001 CICSDBB AN ABEND (CODE 0C4/AKEA) HAS OCCURRED AT OFFSET X'000014EE' IN MODULE IN71SERS.

Environment

Z/OS

CICS

Cause

The client was missing new Intertest CICS RDO entries for PPT entries CAVHFMIO and CAVHFMI0.

Resolution

The client needs to apply fix SO06137  which addresses the following problem.
CA Intertest CICS is not able to initialize. The following message appears:
CAVHFMIO API LOAD FAILED'.

As a quick work around the client could manually create new ASSEMBLER program entries for programs CAVHFMIO and CAVHFMI0..
It is recommended that after appling fix SO06137 the client migrate the NEW Intertest CICS RDO enties to the DFHCSD file. The Intertest RDO entries are based on the CICS level you are running. The RDO entries are located in installation data set HLQ.CAVHJCL. For CTS 5.4 the RDO enties are located in member CSDINT71. If this was CTS 5.3 then the RDO enties would be member CSDINT70.

Then you should recycle CICS with a COLD start to bring in the new CSD entries.
