House-keeping jobs are failing

Issue/Introduction

After migration from DE 11.3 SP3 to 12.2 the HOUSEKEEPING jobs are failing.

Environment

Release : 12.2

Component : CA WORKLOAD AUTOMATION DE (DSERIES)

Cause

During migration the HOUSEKEEPING_UTILITY of version 12 has been overwritten by the 11.3 version.

Resolution

During installation of DE, the HOUSEKEEPING_UTILITY is being created using the following file:

<install_dir_DE>/conf/DBInit/Application/HOUSEKEEPING_UTILITY.xml

 

Please follow below steps to get back the original 12.2 HOUSKEEPING_UTILITY application using Desktop Client:

• select 'Define' perspective
• select the server and right click
• Choose 'Open from file' 
• and select <install_dir_DE>\conf\DBInit\Application\HOUSEKEEPING_UTILITY.xml
• upload to the server
