Issue/Introduction

Login Privileged Identity Manager Enterprise Management Web Console with superadmin, and navigate to "Users and Groups" -> "Create Group", and click "OK" button.

On a "Create Group" screen, we can see the check box titled "Self Subscribing".

What for this check box?

Environment

CA Privileged Identity Manager Enterprise Management

Resolution

"Self Subscribing" is one of the features provided by Identity Manager, and the check box "Self Subscribing" on a "Create Group" is effective when "Self Subscribing" user selects groups to join, because listed groups are all checked as "Self Subscribing".

However, "Self Subscribing" user feature is disabled on CA Privileged Identity Manager Enterprise Management, so checking "Self Subscribing" is meaningless.
