USER COMPLETION CODE=0650

Environment

CA SMR release 3.4

Cause

This is caused by the ALTERN and MASTER file being out of sync

Resolution

This can be resolved by placing these files back in sync.

The RESOLUTION will be that the SMR MASTER file, the ALTERN
file and the MVS CATALOG must all reflect the name of the
file that actually CONTAINS the SYSLOG data from your current date. And,
this file MUST EXIST and be available to the SMRARCH process
when it executes the next time.

The file to be found is in the SMR611I message

NOTE * MANUALLY EDITING the MASTER and ALTERN files to reflect
the correct file name for the dataset that contains the
correct syslog is ALLOWED and will not cause a problem.
Removal of the lines that may be corrupted or do not match the catalog is ALLOWED and will not cause a problem.
