Issue/Introduction

CA-7.NC203 NETWORKINITIALIZATION LIMIT EXCEEDED - PROCESSING CONTINUES - Why is this message being produced?

Environment

Release : 11.3; 12.0; 12.1

Component : CA-7

Cause

Bad Connection

Resolution

When CA-7/NCF starts it will issue "connections" to all the other nodes in the UCC7NODE table.  After 30 seconds (default) if there is at least one of the connections that has not responded (either good or bad), then the CA-7.NC203  message is issued.  This is not necessarily a bad condition.  You can use the STATUS output to make sure all the connections that are needed have completed (ACTIVE).  If not, then may need to recycle NCF again, or use the NCF LOGON function for any needed individual connection.
