Issue/Introduction

We noticed some unusual SAMS messages on one of our LPAR's the other day:

VKG0110E Internal Error - Module OBJCCATR Function PUTALL   - Rc=  64

Checking on manual further explanations for message VKG0110E it points to contact vendor :

Resolution

Apply PTF SO09691.

NONPAGEABLE FIXED MEMORY ABOVE THE BAR

PROBLEM DESCRIPTION:
The CA Vantage started task uses FIXED 1MB pages allocating private
memory above the bar in real memory.

With this sysmod, the CA Vantage STC will use NON-FIXED 1MB pages
allowing the paging out of allocated private memory from central
storage into auxiliary storage, which ensures a reduction in use
of resources of real memory.

SYMPTOMS:
CA Vantage STC uses a large amount of fixed memory.

IMPACT:
Other started task might fail to start due to lack of available memory.
