How can I determine who issued a jes command via Sysview

Issue/Introduction

Following an upgrade SYSVIEW no longer sends output as to who issued a JES command to the SYSLOG.

Cause

The root reason for the SYSV0000 is related to the COMMAND-CONSOLE setting in the OPTIONS Parmlib member.

Resolution

Either comment out the line or set it to ' ' to put things back to the way that it was previously.

Also, provided that you have created the AUDITLOG (the SYSVIEW AUDIT Logstream) these type of modifications should be logged by default.

The DEFAULT for Logging events can be found in the SYSVIEW Parmlib member CNM4BPRM(AUDITDEF) and the definitions are

JES_OUTPUT_MODIFY.
