Issue/Introduction

Following an upgrade SYSVIEW no longer sends output as to who issued a JES command to the SYSLOG.

Environment

Release : 15.0

Component : SYSVIEW

Cause

It appears the root reason for the SYSV0000 is related to the COMMAND-CONSOLE setting in the OPTIONS Parmlib member.

Resolution

We believe that your setting is SYSVIEW.

Either comment out the line or set it to ' ' to put things back to the way that you used to have it.

Also,

Provided that you have created the AUDITLOG (the SYSVIEW AUDIT Logstream) I believe that these type of modifications should be logged by default.

The DEFAULT for Logging events can be found in the SYSVIEW Parmlib member CNM4BPRM(AUDITDEF) and the definitions are

JES_OUTPUT_MODIFY.

and

CONSOLE_COMMAND
