Nimsoft Watcher Controller Fails to stop: Error in NTServStop

Issue/Introduction

When trying to stop the Nimsoft Watcher Controller, it fails with the error message:

Error in NTServStop | Unable to open Service Controller Manager to perform state change

 

Stopping and starting the service from the services.mcs works fine

Environment

Release : 8.51

Component : UIM - ROBOT 7.x

Resolution

Try to launch the "Nimsoft Watcher Controller" as an administrator:

If it works then it most likely is an issue with domain account permissions of the user that is running the service.
