Issue/Introduction

What user and password should be used to login to Config Xpress?

To log in to Config Xpress for Broadcom Identity Manager, you must use the credentials associated with the Identity Management Console (the "admin" or "imadmin" user) rather than a local operating system user

User and password must be entered when trying to connect to IM server in Config Xpress.

 

Environment

Release : 14.x

Component : CA IDENTITY SUITE (VIRTUAL APPLIANCE)

Application Server: JBoss/Wildfly

Resolution

Please login to Config Xpress with the following information.

 

• Virtual Appliance:

Identity Manager Server and Port: IP address:8080 (or hostname:8080)
Username: admin
Password: Password for Management Console admin

 

• Standalone:

Identity Manager Server and Port: localhost:8080
Username: admin user of Management Console (imadmin by default)
Password: Password of above

NOTE: This is the password used to access the Identity Management Console (typically http://<server>:8080/iam/im/manage
