Issue/Introduction

CA Desktop client sync issue, Initial configuration was for 60 seconds and later changed to 20 seconds but the Desktop client still showing the counter as 60 seconds. Server cache refresh were done properly but the changes did not came into effect.

Resolution

The user has to re-provisioned to have the new settings for Time step, if user is not provisioned again it will continue to have the old configuration with which it was originally provisioned.

So you can create a new user and that will be having the configuration changes you do.

The time step configuration is one time activity normally so you should consult internally and then arrive at a value which is feasible and then create a profile and provision the users because Once a credential is issued using a profile , the user who is provisioned with that profile will continue to have that setting even after profile changes are made, this will only affect the new users.
