Unable to open old versions of objects in version management.

Issue/Introduction

When attempting to open version management objects, the open fails and displays the following error:

 

Loading task prompt definition / opening prompt sets failed.
com.uc4.ecc.backends.exceptions.AutomationEngineAPIException: Error during XRequest com.uc4.webui.communication.requests.ModifiableTaskPromptSetContent
Caused by: java.lang.NullPointerException: null

Cause

This was caused by an issue present within the Automic Automation Engine

Resolution

This is resolved in:

Automation.Engine 12.1.7
Automation.Engine 12.2.5

Please also make sure the Automic Web Interface is on the same version.

To workaround this issue:

Make a simple change to the object - add spaces to the title,
save the object, then use the restore function in the Version Management so that you can see the contents of the old version.
When done, restore the current version back again.
