Issue/Introduction

Are there any tools the will show an applications performance improvement after activating Broadcom Top Secret CACHEing via the CACHE control option?

Release : 16.0

Component : CA Top Secret for z/OS

Resolution

Currently there are no Top Secret features that monitors application performance.

The TSS MODIFY CACHE(STATUS) will display CACHE statistics and show the CACHE usage.

This will give an idea of CACHE utilization and show how much of a benefit after activating CACHE.
