About support of the LARGE FORMAT SPOOL Dataset of JES2

Issue/Introduction

We have JES2 spool of the JESMAS and we are considering a switch to JES2 large-format spool datasets.

Actually, they are planning to add the new "SYS1. HASPACE" with DSTYPE=LARGE the follows.

ex)
SYS1.HAPSPACE VOL=SER=SPOOL1
SYS1.HAPSPAC1 DSTYPE=LARGE  VOL=SER=SPOOL1 <== ADD
SYS1.HAPSPAC2 DSTYPE=LARGE  VOL=SER=SPOOL1 <== ADD

Does the above condition affect CA JMR and CA SMR?
If there is any impact, they will not use the DSTYPE=LARGE of SYS1.HAPSPACE(Jes spool).

Resolution

There is no impact.
After researching and discussing the issue with developers, it has been determined that there are no issues regarding LARGE FORMAT SPOOL Dataset and CA JMR and CA SMR.
