Issue/Introduction

After installing new system agent, the system agent status remains INACTIVE in Desktop Client Admin Topology.

Environment

Release : 11.3

Component : CA Workload Automation System Agent

Release : 12.2

Component : CA Workload Automation DE

Resolution

In Desktop Client - Admin - Toplogy, on the system agent properties:

1. the agent name doesn't correspond with the following parameter in agentparm.txt which says:

agentname=AGENT

2. the release number contains "Release 7". This must be "Release 11.3".
