Issue/Introduction

It is possible that on certain servers, the Eclipse core APIs are not able to read correct configuration settings.

Environment

Release : 13.x and 14.x

Component : CA Harvest Software Change Manager

Resolution

A work around in such cases is to backup the workbench.ini file in C:\Program Files\CA\SCM\

Then,

a) add below entries at the end of the existing contents in that file:

[email protected]/.cascm/configuration
[email protected]/.cascm/workspace

b) Save the file

c) Relaunch Workbench again

Additional Information

See How to override settings in workbench.ini and config.ini from command prompt  for additional information
