Download UIM Software from the Broadcom support website

Issue/Introduction

Previously we were able to download all DX UIM software from the https://support.ca.com or support.nimsoft.com web site, however it is consolidated to the Broadcom website and not available to download the software from the URLs.

Where can we download the UIM software from the Broadcom support web?

Environment

• Windows
• Linux/UNIX

Cause

- DX UIM software downloads

- Unified Infrastructure Management software downloads

Resolution

1. Login to https://support.broadcom.com

2. Select 'Enterprise Software' from the Building/Lock Icon dropdown menu

3. Then click 'My Downloads' on the left-side navigation menu

 

4. Search by Product Name and choose Unified Infrastructure Management

 

 

5. Select DX Infrastructure Management MULTI-PLATFORM

or

DX Infrastructure Management Upgrade MULTI-PLATFORM

6. Click on the correct release version

7. Select the 'cloud' icon to start your Download.

Additional Information

Once downloaded, don't mount the ISO.

You should be able to simply download the ISO and double-click on it to open it.

Then rt-click the installer for UIM and OC and choose 'Run as administrator.'
