Issue/Introduction

  • Audit data is not being captured appropriately.
  • A custom attribute (Example: Cost Center) that is associated to a parameterized lookup is showing blank for old and new values.

Cause

  • This can happen if there an issue with one of the lookup values, such as old value in a lookup that was deactivated.

Environment

Release : All Supported Releases

Component : CA PPM SAAS APPLICATION

Resolution

  • Check the lookup values for the associated lookups for any old values that are no longer in use /deactivated that could be causing the issue

Additional Information

If the above doesn't help, some other known solutions include:

  • 130650 - Parameterized lookup field is not properly audited - Blank for update and insert
  • 23909 - Auditing is turned on for an object, such as the Project Object, but when I update an audited attribute and save, the New Value field on the Audit Tab is not populated
