Error: E190098 (web services validation) - Certificate for doesn't match

Issue/Introduction

Validation of Autosys server gives following error message : 

Error: E190098 AUTOPROD (web services validation) - A connection exception was encountered: Certificate for <AUTOPROD.example.com> doesn't match any of the subject alternative names: 

 

Environment

Workload Automation AE (AutoSys) / Workload Control Center (WCC/WebUI)

Resolution

If the Web Server Certificate was given for the short hostname of the Web Server, then in the WCC's configuration for Web Service URL field, provide the value:

https://ShortHostname_of_WebServer:9443/AEWS
