The Coupling Facility structure needs to be increased in size. What is needed in ACF2?

Issue/Introduction

The Coupling Facility is over 80% used.  What needs to be done in ACF2 for the increase in size?  Can the existing information in the Coupling Facility be retained?

Release : 16.0

Component : CA ACF2 for z/OS

Resolution

The Coupling Facility is an "On Demand" use.  When something is needed and not in the CF, then a call is made and the data is added.  All that is needed in ACF2 is a stop and restart after the re-sizing is done.

ACF2 will then start adding the needed data as requested.  The existing data is no longer user and cannot be retained.
