DUAS: Jobs in status Refused when Depending Uproc does not exist locally

Issue/Introduction

Since 6.10.01, Jobs end in status Refused because the depending Uproc does not exist locally.

The history trace of the job contains:

Procedure unknown in this environment

*** Task launch refused  ***

 

This behavior differs from previous versions.

How can we have the same behavior as on previous versions?

 

Environment

Release: 6.10

Component : DOLLAR UNIVERSE

 

Cause

The behavior of the Launcher when a conditioning Uproc is undefined has changed in version 6.10.01.

This may not be desirable.

Resolution

Update to a fix version listed below or a newer version if available.

IMPORTANT: 

If you require to have the old behavior, first upgrade the impacted node(s), then launch the following command to add a new variable:

unisetvar -hidden U_MISSING_UPROC_REFUSED N

(an additional restart is required after setting the variable)
