Issue/Introduction

We're running a CA Access Gateway (SPS) and when user gets the backend
application web page, the browser returns code 404.

We noticed that in the page, the related items like javascripts, css
and images that are in different paths are not found in the target
docroot.

How can we fix that ?

Environment

  CA Access Gateway (SPS) 12.8SP3 on RedHat 7;

Resolution

At first glance, if the page that the backend server send has
different URL, you should configure the proxyrules.xml accordingly to
make them available.

In order to understand which configuration are missing, reproduce the
issue and examine carefully the following :

  - Full Live HTTP headers of your browser
    (Fiddler http://www.fiddler2.com/fiddler2/version.asp)
    NOTE : be sure to activate the desencryption of the SSL connections
    in order to see them :
    Tools / Fiddler Option.. / HTTPS / Decrypt HTTPS traffic;
  - Full SPS Agent logs and traces;
  - Full SPS Web Server access and error logs;
  - Full SPS server.log;
  - server.conf;
  - proxyrules.xml;
