Auto Operator profiles are sending multiple email alerts for alarms.

First ensure that the AO Profile is set to "Message counter is Equal to 1." This will cause only one email to be sent for each alarm incident until the alarm clears.
Also check whether the option 'Email on assignment' is checked in the emailgtw probe configuration.
This would trigger an email for every alarm that gets assigned.
Customer adjusted the AO profile from Action Mode "On message arrival" to "On overdue age 30sec" and now only a single email is generated.
Email on Assignment: converts assigned alarms into emails and sends to the email addresses defined in the profiles.
Default: Not selected
1. Deselect "Email on Assignment" unless you need that to remain enabled for 'other' reasons. Keep in mind that every email that gets automatically assigned will get emailed to the defined emailgtw profiles.
2.Instead of using Action mode of "on arrival" use "On overdue age" and set that anywhere from 2 mins to 5 mins.
