What is the procedure to change the LU NAME generated by CA VANTAGE when the users connect to the mainframe ?

Release : 14.0

Component : CA Vantage Storage Resource Manager

Resolution

If instead of TCP00001,  the A000001 should be used, the following AMASPZAP can be used to zap the new value:

/ZAPY     EXEC PGM=AMASPZAP
//SYSLIB     DD   DSN=VANTAGE.LOADLIB,DISP=SHR
//SYSPRINT   DD   SYSOUT=*
//SYSIN      DD   *
 NAME GENTCPAP GENTCPAP

and then restart CA VANTAGE.

 

This zap is available for VANTAGE 14.0.
