Environment

Release : 12.2

Component : CA NetMaster Network Management for TCP/IP

Cause

This is an External Security authorization problem. The Netmaster region STC userid does not have the correct authorization to kill the SYSLOGD process.

Resolution

Add READ access for SUPERUSER.PROCESS.GETPSENT and SUPERUSER.PROCESS.KILL to the USS privileges of the external security system for the Netmaster userid so that it can restart SYSLOGD during region initialization.
