When using CA Symdump CICS to view the trace entries in a dump I receive message CASD6260 and CASD6264 .

Issue/Introduction

When I select a dump and then try to look at the trace entries in the dump I get these two error messages. 

CASD6260 IN71DTRC CCI CONVERSE - CONVERSATION BROKEN - LOST SENDER 

Followed by 

CASD6264 TRACE TIMEOUT, OVERRIDES ARE RESET, FILTERS ARE RETAINED. 

I can view other areas in the dump just not the trace entries.

Cause

The Symdump CICS trace format region was not active on the LPAR.

Resolution

The TRACE FORMAT REGION must be running within your CCI network in order for you to format CICS traces within CA SymDump for CICS.
Member TRCMSAMP located in the HLQ.CAVHJCL PDS contains the sample JCL for the CA SymDump for CICS TRACE FORMAT REGION. This job may be run as a normally scheduled job, or as a started task at your discretion.
