CA Deliver - Need Instructions for Testing Upgrade of CA Deliver r12.2 to r14.0

Issue/Introduction

In their upgrading CA Deliver from r12.2 to r14.0, the client wants some basic instructions on setting up. 

 

Environment

Release : 14.0

Component : CA Deliver

Resolution

Had the client set the following Deliver RMOPARMS:

. JOBCLSL=*
. SYSCLSL=
. ARCH1=Q////
. ARCH2=J////

Set their SARINIT parameters to:

. CLSL=J
. DEST=
. FORM=

From the above setup came the following conclusions:

. Deliver will do pre-spool analysis of ALL reports, as there are settings of JOBCLSL=* and SYSCLSL= .

. The Deliver Report Definitions that contain "ARCH ==> 2" will have their processed sysout picked up by CA View.
